Meet Your Provider

Jennifer Imbraguglio, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

A woman with long dark hair and fair skin, smiling and sitting on a tan leather chair against a gray wall. She is wearing a dark jacket and white pants, with her left hand resting on her chin and her right arm crossed over her lap. A tall, gold-colored floor lamp with three cylindrical, fabric lampshades stands behind her to her right.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I specialize in working with pediatrics ages 6 years and older, adolescents, and adults up to 70 years old facing challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and bipolar disorder.

I value continuing education and to further expand my expertise, I have completed specialized trainings in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International to provide evidence-based care for those with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Currently, I am in a fellowship in Functional and Integrative Psychiatry by leading functional psychiatry specialist, Dr. James Greenblatt and other leading functional providers through Psychiatry Redefined.

My approach is grounded in building a therapeutic relationship and to provide evidence-based care to optimize your wellness and quality of life. My goal is to help each client improve their mental health, build healthy coping skills, and feel more confident and enjoy their daily life.

I understand that starting mental health care can feel overwhelming. Southern Oaks Wellness is a safe and supportive place where my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported during your mental health journey. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health as often the two are intertwined. Whether you or your child are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, attention concerns, behavior challenges, stress, or other emotional difficulties, I am here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you take insurance?

No, we do not accept any insurance, medicaid, or medicare. This allows us to provide more thorough direct care and time with our clients. We do provide a detailed superbill to submit for reimbursement to your insurance for out of network expense if your insurance allows. You can also use your Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) benefits to pay for services.

2.How are you different than other providers?

I enjoy spending time with my clients to understand the root cause and understand that there are multitude of factors that can contribute to symptoms. I understand that importance of how your mental health and physical health are intertwined. I value your input as I know each person’s lifestyle is different and develop a treatment plan specific for you.

3. What if I don’t want to be on medications, can I still see you?

Yes, I believe mental health treatment looks different for each person. I incorporate psychotherapy and lifestyle changes into treatment plan to improve one’s mental health.

4.Do you work with other providers?

Yes, I will collaborate with your therapist if you are already seeing someone and if needed, I will also collaborate with your primary care doctor or other doctors taking care of you. I may refer you or your child to speech/occupational therapy, a therapist whom is specialized in a specific psychotherapy modality, and/or Dietician/Nutritionist to improve overall quality of care and outcome.
